　　德国RCA及Sony近年力捧的女性新人许普丝，也曾於鲁尔钢琴节演出，本次的舒伯特已是其加盟RCA第三张专辑，以舒伯特的各类舞曲为主，间杂三首常演出的即兴曲，就选曲上有熟悉者，亦有从较陌生者（如《迪亚贝里》圆舞曲、第二号圆舞艾马尔现在正处於技艺与詮释的黄金时期，对於期盼一出手就要火花四射，或者是个人秀风强烈的乐友，他自难获得讨巧喜爱，但对喜欢智性乐趣的乐友，就会受到欣赏了。只要认真听下来，自可发现他在录音与现场演奏对於读谱的掌握、声音的想像力及高度执行能力，辅以现场对的气氛帮助，确可予听眾、专业工作者、乐评人一定的惊喜与嘆服感。艾马尔既敢挑战杰出录音不算少的德布西前奏曲，自是有其手上功夫与詮释自信在。的确，从第一册的〈帆〉始，就可听到他使用弱音踏板，以使乐句进行在飘渺中仍有音响颗粒的统整存在感，但其他音乐需要断奏处理的部分也为他所兼顾而不偏废，弹出略带木质感的声音，这在技术掌握上确实不易。德布西对於某些音乐的谐拟在艾马尔演奏中有令人会心一笑之感，呈现后者諳熟笑点之所在。艾马尔在两册《前奏曲》声音色调的选择，较为倾向或钟情一种近似破晓至午前、午后至黄昏的光影感，即便是到〈安纳卡布里之丘〉也不轻易给出正午的炽烈光线，这就是詮释上见仁见智的观点。
　　但有趣的是，德布西在纸捲录音上的演奏也并非每一首作品（如〈沈没的教堂〉）都是光亮四射的，这确实提醒我们对声音想像是有多种可能性之存在。即便极易放嗨的〈烟火〉，在他手下也绝非争相照亮天空宛如白昼的烟花，展现其个人坚持，此种处理易予人冷淡感，或以为他对作品是无感的，实甚不然。只要仔细听完与细细品味，将发现他个人对此音乐的热爱与思考是清晰存在，只是希望用更为简洁精鍊的形式去表达而已。
　　就2012年新出版的德布西作品演奏中，艾马尔在简鍊形式中追求最大可能之表达，确实给出一张质量兼具之成品，是值得关注与聆听的。（任育德／资深乐评人）

欧尔嘉．许普丝(Olga Scheps) 出生於1986年莫斯科，六岁时移民德国，12岁开始舞台演出，曾获得许多比赛的奖项。她在就读科隆音乐学院的时候在Pavel Gililov门下习琴，15岁开始，也接受钢琴家布兰德尔(Alfred Brendel)将近十年的指导。近年来她渐渐成为新一代乐坛炙手可热的钢琴家。颇受好评的演出让她有机会站上世界一流的舞台上演出，也经常受邀至各大音乐节演出。除了独奏的演出外，欧尔嘉也是个室内乐爱好者，经常合作的对象包含了杨．渥格勒(Jan Vogler) 、中提琴家尼斯．孟克梅耶(Nils Monkemeyer)等。2009年签约Sony Classical，之后发行的首张专辑『诗情萧邦』(Chopin)，拿下了德国古典回声大奖(ECHO AWARD)的「年度最佳瞩目新人奖」(Newcomer of the Year)。
这是欧尔嘉．许普丝加入Sony Classical的第三张专辑，选录的都是舒伯特的小品乐曲，较鲜为人知的有：迪亚贝里的华尔滋(Diabelli-Walzer D..718)、华尔滋第二号(Walzer Nr.2 D.145 op.18)、匈牙利旋律(Ungarische Melodie D. 817)，当然也有耳熟能详的三首即兴曲 (Impromptu D.935 OP.142,2、D.899 OP.90,3、D899 OP.90,4)。欧尔嘉女性特有的细致特质，将舒伯特的这13首小品詮释的恰如其分地，音色柔美纤细，乐句疏落有致，不失为一张难得精致小品。

She is on point as far as the interpretation goes. The message is sent. The “Kuperlwieser Walzer” is her key play, as far as giving you that Good-Night-Vibe. In her own personal way she is able to present As-Pur-Impromptu D 935. Every change of vibration is shown, where emotion of warmth and cold is felt at the same time. Rubinstein told a story from his youth, playing for Rachmaninov. Rubinstein played to impress. Rachmaninov was polite but unimpressed. The next day Rubinstein was playing some simple melodies and was overheard by Rachmaninov. This time Rachmaninoff was enthused.
I'm enthused by the beauty and musicality of the playing on this recording - with a very thoughtfully put together selection of works. No, not everyone will enjoy this disc as some folks are not fans of Schubert - or anyone post Bach. But, these are works that Schubert would have enjoyed playing - and he was the master of melody. These are charming works - antecedents of Grieg Lyric pieces and Mendelsohn's Song without Words. Most of the selections are within the technical grasp of a novice pianist - but one can tell they are being played by a talented artist. A wonderful debut recording.
I do hope to hear more from this young woman. She charms and has produced a recording I will enjoy for years to come.
The recording quality is very good - very natural - a bit of the ambiance of the hall.
