迪亚斯 Alirio Diaz，委内瑞拉的古典吉他演奏家，1923年出生，他的家中是一个有11名儿童家中的第八位，他从童年起就喜爱音乐，16遂离家开始他的学习音乐之路，到报社边工作边习萨克斯风汉担黄管，1945年开始专心学习古典吉他，1950年得到奖学金到西班牙马德里深造吉他，1951年遇到塞戈韦亚学习，三年后成韦他的助理，开始了他的欧洲吉他音乐的演出。本片他弹奏委内瑞拉的作曲家劳拉的吉他协奏曲，劳拉是义大利后裔，他是正统的音乐研究，他对吉他音乐有兴趣，进而创作古典吉他的音乐曲。另弹奏了巴赫.韦拉劳伯.巴里奥斯.等.的音乐

I first discovered this album when in college around 1970. It was entitled, "400 Years of the Classical Guitar." http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_8...rs+vinyl
Alirio Diaz had a very emotional, yet, precise technique. I loved the album. The highlight piece, which is beautiful no matter who plays it, is "Recuerdos de la Alhambra "
When I looked for a CD version years later I never could find it. I found it by "accident" on the Laserlight label. Apparently, the Laserlight catalog is now Delta. I was very happy to find. If you have a curiosity about classical guitar, you might be won over the same way I was by this album and by Alirio Diaz. I don't remember if the liner notes are the same. Probably not. That is one advantage of vinyl.
